Sake being a third choice for me usually, my preference leaned toward cold unfiltered varieties, until a Sake tasting a few weeks ago. Karen "Coy" is quite good, though a bit sweeter than most sake I have tried.
Of course when someone's favorite alcohol is umeshu, you can tell I prefer sweet wines. ![]() Just can't explain my fondness for soju though. ![]() ![]() Only an open mind and open heart can be filled with life. ********************* Find your voice; silence will not protect you.

Cold Sake if you had warm before. The Gekkeikan is usually used as a house sake because it's cheap and doesn't taste to bad warm. I like cold sake myself. Try Fuki cold, or try a unfiltered sake (it's milky looking) with a few cucumber sticks in it. Just because a sake is expensive doesn't mean it tastes better either, go to a asian supermarket and take a few small bottles thats the best way. Your own sampling party!
