Iv never had Shabushabu makimono Iv seen it but never tried it. Looks good. Is it?

Shabu Shabu is quite good, especially if you like meat and vegetables ^_^

Makimono is another favorite of mine, I don't like sushi very much because I dislike raw fish, but makimono is fine since the fish is cooked.

I like authentic Ramen noodles when I went to Japan 3 years ago. We went to a ramen resteraunt. It was the best stuff i've ever tasted it was loaded with BBQ Beef nothing like we get in america.

I've never been to Japan so I'm only familiar with the stereotyped Japanese food - ramen and sushi. Those pictures posted by Hotaru100 make me want to gorge myself on said foods right this instant! Yum! :)

it's actually making me feel sick.

It's early morning here & I cannot handle sushi in the morning.
I once went to Tsukiji at 5am & it was just gross.
Sushi for me is definately an evening thing!

what is the best to try when eating it first?

well, I wouldn't order/take/try ikura (salmon eggs) or uni (don't know what that's in English) at the first time.
start with tamago (egg), ebi (shrimps) or maguro (tuna). well, just try. I've eaten so many delicious kinds of fish/sushi without knowing what exactly that has been ;)


mmh, it's really difficult to say what my favourite food is. I basically eat everything (just not umeboshi, i can't say why).... well, fugu (bubblefish?) was fantastic... and nabe, specially when it's cold outside and you sit at a kotatsu with your family.... and of course sweets :D

allright i'm just try things that sound good :p
