Im not a vegitarian (see below posts) but i tend to agree fish is not really "meat" is it? I mean technically maybe but it doesnt seem that way.
|
Yeah, that's my thought also.
I heard that there is a special name for people who don't eat meat but do eat fish... I'll have to look into it. |
I found this:
How do you describe a person who does not eat meat, but eats fish? The word demi-vegetarian appears in our file with the sense 'a person who eats fish but not meat', but this is not obvious as the meaning of the term, and some self-styled 'demi-vegetarians' may eat poultry and avoid only red meat. |
ha ! perfect i think that is solved *wipes hands of the matter*

Yep!!
I was just told that it can be called a pescetarian aswell. B] |
hi all,
i am sort of vegetarian for about 5-6 yrs. due to convenience i had no choice but to take only veggies that are cooked with meat.other than that, i almost raw vegetarian meaning i take mostly uncook or processed food eg. green leaves, carrots, seaweed and etc.but of course i need to cook mushroom, tofu. i made my own smoothie with rice dream , avacado, banana and some berries. i mite be moving to japan./tokyu and really so tough to find decent vegetarians? sigh.... |

i mean is isn't REALLY meat .. but... i don't eat fish ... one reason is because i don't like it.. but i also don't want to eat something that was just swimming around, then got caught in a net, then trhown in a boat with allot of other fish, then died because it had no air, and finally, the finishing touch, it was thrown around by allot of ppl and then eaten by a bunch of hungry ppl.... wow, that was a long story..lol |
