Why not?
I have eaten a sushi with a hello kitty shaped fishcake before but it totally sucks big time. It was too chewy and I could not even swallow it. The slimy feeling when it slid down my throat was totally gross. |
i dont really like the usa style of the japanese food because the taste is different from the one that i had in japan...im not tryin to mean but it doesnt really seem right...the taste i mean.

I looooove sushi maki!
here in amsterdam sushi is ridiculously expensive, so I buy everything myself, and I learned from my mom how to make it, although I probably make it different than it is supposed to be made. I like the "california roll" kind of sushi maki. I also love sushi with tuna or salmon!! mmm...best food ever! |
Battle of the seafood
Ok I want to ge tthis straight, cause I remember hearing this on the foodnetwork. Sushi is more about the rice, then ingrediants in it. Sashime (sry for spelling) Is all about hte raw seafood. Is this correct????
|
I would not agree with that statement. A special vinegar is used in sushi rice when it is cooked, and you don't want it to be too mushy...maybe a little stiffer than normal white rice, but that's about it.
Sashimi is basically sushi without rice, to put it very simply. |
