Does this line mean that the speaker has been thinking of something for a while, but still hasn't thought it through?

This line was said to a crying girl. I'm guessing that this means something along the line of "Would it be okay to just accept it like that?", but I'm not really sure. Can someone please tell me what パクっと means?

1. Exactly. It is a long time by the speaker's standards, not just "for a while".

2. Is this about food? If so, it means "Would it not have been better if (someone) had just eaten it without hesitation?"

If it is NOT about food, context would be needed.

It is not enough.

Is this about a relationship? It so, パクっといただく can mean "to steal a kiss".

Yes, it's about a love triangle. I've figured out what it means now. Thank you masaegu. :)

I'm adding one more question. Is こほんっ the Japanese equivalent of "ahem"? I've seen it used here and there in some dialogue lines.

Yes, it is the sound made when clearing one's throat or coughing.

In this case, 「ニュース」 is the object for the verb 「届ける」; therefore, one needs to use 「を」.

よう, in my sentence, means "so that ~~~". The more informal form is 「ように」.

～～いただける is the humble way of saying "You may choose to ~~". It is 謙譲語.
