Question: Did any of you watched the Japanese live version of Death Note?
If you did, was it good?

At least it isn't as bad as Keanu Reeves playing Spike Spiegel. ;_;

Well, after reading this thread...

I checked out the info.

Apparently it's going to be Vertigo studios that remakes it (they've remade a LOAD of Japanese and otherwise movies, and of course turned them to sh*t).

I also check out the guy who's supposedly going to be the producer. Doug Davison.

This guy's worked on:

The Ring
The Grudge
Dark Water
The Eye
Shutter
Qurantine
And a few others...

If that says anything to how this is going to go down... I'm not going to watch it. In fact, I'm likely going to be protesting it.

However, this DOES mean that the likely-hood of Efron playing anyone in the movie is slim to none. Still, it's not a garunteed zero, and that annoys me...

An american remake will just suck even more.
