Okay, good! I was about to say O.O that'd be wayyy too many movies for one thing.

I haven't seen that yet but I'll definitely look into it.

people who are into japanese culture are always talking about how scary japanese horror films are
I have seen alotttttttttttttttttt of japanese horror films and not one has scared me
alot of the times the plot is stupid and the movie is just a rip off of ju-on(another crappy japanese movie might even be more crappy then the american version )
but then there are some japanese horror movies that arent scary but are interesting/suspensful
I'm sure there are scary japanese horror movies out there that i havent seen yet
anyone here get what I mean?

i dont think that's too entirely fair...i think the japanese make better movies then most american production companies...most of the time they at least try to be original...many american movies you see you can pick out the plot just by reading the description or the back of the movie jacket...or at least i can...and the jhorror ive seen was actually TASTEFUL none of tht almost soft core porno crap, people running around half naked, and the same story line everytime...so you have to give them some credit for at least tryin to make a good movie
true that is your opinion but this is mine...they deserve at least some credibility for being tasteful and having the people who dont want to see boobs the whole hr & a 1/2 in mind

I dunno about some people, but people didn't like The Ring so much, but I was completely horrified by it. The entire movie built up sooo slowly... and at first I wasn't sure if there was a reasoning behind it all or if it was just ghost-shit, but I remember that the movie took me to the next level of suspense when that fly in the movie suddenly was picked out in real life. and when the tension had risen for like, the entire movie, that cutscene with the television... oh man... I'm still afraid of static and things like that.

That was the American The Ring. I haven't seen the Japanese one, though I've seen both versions of The Ring 2, and neither appealed to me. The Japanese The Grudge wasn't particularly scary to me, either.

I definitely like Japanese-esque horror more, though. Project Zero is a game that has minor influences of the "sudden scare" factor but mostly the entire atmosphere and suspense simply kills you. Remember Resident Evil? Shotgun solves everything ;)

i personally think most japanese horrors are realllllly corny, they CANNOT scare me
yet many non japanese horrors cannot scare me either
the only movies that have scared me are American horrors because they like to "upgrade" things, however japanese horror should be given credit for the original ideas
don't be mistaken, i am not saying that the American remakes of all japanese horrors are good
its just to my perspective, usually the original japanese horrors have never scared me while some of the remakes have "scared" me...
yet its rare for me to be scared by anything on film, more like i can be creeped out, now japanese horrors can do that to me
i get scared enough from what i see in real life...

You talked yourself in a complete circle. Maybe if you gave some examples...

why are you always having trouble understanding my posts?
most people can understand me
no offense but is english your second language?
since you did not understand, the point of my post is that japanese horrors do not scare me because they mainly seem cheesy, however they can still be creepy
at the same time i'm sayin my opinion may not matter to the whole because films cannot scare me in general anyway

I don't think he did at all.

Some JP horrors are epic, but I really prefer the Korean ones.

Honestly I think Asia make better horrors than Americans. Especially Korean horrors that are more about the suffering and scarring of the victim's mind than about blood and knives.

Then why bother watching horrors at all if you're never scared of them?
The problem then is not JP Horrors, but your relationship with horror movies in general - or lack of such one.
