If you are in search for Japanese shows airing than you should look up keyhole TV its a program that allows you to watch multiple channels from japan on your computer and also listen to there radio they show things from anime, news, drama just about everything.

I started a thread like this. Exactly the same thing, and a mod deleted it for some reason.

I didn't know i had a feeling someone made a thread i had key hole for about a year and just now thought about making a topic.

Yeah, it's a good idea for a discussion, it really is. I don't know what happened though, one second the thread was there, and the next it was gone. Hopefully this one will stay open. I've had the program for a while, I love it. It's usually open whenever my computer is on. I've even managed to crack a couple of those password channels XDDD

YOU WHAT?:eek: I've been trying to do that for weeks (4 minuets) and i couldn't. But for some reason I've been getting more channels. Oh well lol.

I have Keyhole TV for quite some time, but lately it stopped working. Before that I used to watch Livestation, but some of the channels stopped broadcasting so I'm stuck with Keyhole TV again. Can't say it's a very good program (unless you prefer mobile phone video quality), it's just the only one right now that helps me watch Japanese programs.

And that's true, but, if you're not in Japan, and want to watch Japanese TV, I think this is as good as you're going to get.

For now unless someone had made something just like keyhole but just with more channels and better quality, But i like this program anyway.

Oh my. I just downloaded. The quality is far better than Keyhole. But doesn't have as many working channels.

Thus,

Keyhole = Crappy quality, tons of channels.
Livestation = Perfect quality, but has far less channels.
Both = OWNAGE

Does Keyhole/Livestation have FujiTV?

It has enough channels, and some of them you won't even find in Keyhole. Just because some channels are offline doesn't mean they're completely gone. give some time and they might show up again.

Yes. It's a personal opinion. Do you want a 30 crappy quality channels? Or 15 amazing quality channels?

Personally, I use both.

I also like the fact that with livestation, you can watch some pretty cool webcams. Like live stream of a Subway in Ibaraki. Can't get that with keyhole.

So how come some of Livestation channels Dose not work?

I'm not sure, but some are just down. I don't know whether it's permanently, or just temporarily. But some just never connect. (It'll say "connecting" and it will just never connect)

Hey dude I've got like three videos all about j-rock a funny one is a camera at a train station nothing happens but somehow its fun to see.

Lol, yeah check the train times or whatever (somehow) and watch all the people getting on/off the train. It's pretty amazing, especially to an American boy where trains basically don't exist for transporting people.

I got lucky, and was able to see about an hour ago when all the school chicks were getting off to start their day ^_^

Of course no program can compare to the priviledge of watching real Japanese TV.

Yes you are right.

Those channels are third party channels, that means they're being broadcasted from other sources and those sources stopped broadcasting. The Livestation team is trying to resolve those issues so be patient.
If is in the list, then it is a possibility that it'll be broadcasted again.

Wow, this is awesome. How the hell does it not need to buffer? Is it actually real-time?

Yeappp. My gf get's so "tickled" (for lack of a better word) when I'm talking to her, and we're watching the exact same thing. It's amazin'! lol and most channels even have the time (japan's time, obviously) in the upper left corner, so that shows it's live as well.

Oh, btw, which one are you talking about? Keyhole, I'm assuming? Yeah keyhole is pretty ownage.

I've just realised why the quality sucks. I can see the corner of someones actual TV screen in the bottom left of what I'm watching. That means someone has their TV on all the time with a webcam or something pointed at the screen! explains the crappy audio too since its not a direct feed!

Yeahh that's the downside. I've noticed that too.

But livestation's quality is the opposite, it's crystal clear. It's really hard to pick the better of the two, as there are up/downs for both. Just throwing that out there. lol

As for my favorite channel, ahh Idk, for some reason I've been watching the NHK's. I know, how cliche right? lol but when I go to sleep, I usually turn on the QVC Shopping channel (livestation only) and fall asleep to the endless japanese chatter. hah
