i feel you, but will smith and a director that probably can do it if they already have will smith
i think its going to be a success..i like old boy just as much as the next person, if you ask the director and everyone who had to do with the first old boy, they most likely feel honored that this movie is getting re made with one of the best american actors alive.

and also the vengeance films - i thought they were also lame although i cant remember what happened in them now - but then again thats why because they were crap!

but imdb posts all the works of actors and future works, and when i went to will smith's he has about 22 things coming out and old boy was one of them

Doesn't matter who the actor is. Through out the history of American filmmaking nobody made a movie of pure vengeance such as Old Boy. And If Wikipedia is correct they already removed the incest scene, which was an important part of the movie.
That movie is gonna fail.

i saw the incest scene, didnt know it was incest at the time, not until they showed the first incest scene that i realized what was going on and my mind was going crazy over how insanely creative the movie was
