IS this a Taiwan film? I remember it's " Meteor Garden", with the actors : Vic Chou (Zai Zai), Jerry, Ken and Vaness.
From Manga "hana yori Dango", ne?

NinjaKasumi123 11-30-2006 12:16 PM

OMG I LOVE METEOR GARDEN!!! Vic Zhu is my favourite! And yes That drama series was fully based off from that Manga

YouTube - Meteor Rain

u.u sad thing is everybody dont like F4. But the boy band got seperated due to their Single Album

MasterHien 11-30-2006 02:02 PM

Hana Yori Dango

Ok so ive watched Hana Yori Dango the jdrama... and yes it is similar to the anime version of it. ive also watched the taiwanese version starring Barbie Xu as Makino and Jerry Yan as Tsukasa.. havent watched the korean version though but many of them said that it is better than that of the japanese version, starring Mao Inoue and Jun Matsumoto. what can you say bout this? ive just watched the two version which is very different and i chose the japanese version of it.

hikkiFM 04-08-2009 08:17 AM

Japanese

Taiwanese

Korean

H3RMES 04-14-2009 03:11 PM

I haven't watched it yet..xDD but I'll go for the Japanese version.. Matsumoto Jun is :rheart: XD

tifa 04-14-2009 04:43 PM

THE KOREAN one is the sex!!!!!!! i mean it is how can u say the japanese guys are cute pllllease spare me!!! korean boys are soo sexy jun poy ji boon!!! ahhh the memoriess the japanese 1 didnt do it for me was to...weak the korean one like when F4 give out the red cards its bad ass!!!!! not the weak stuff u see in the japanese 1 sucks carrot sticks :P hehe

kyo_9 04-14-2009 05:24 PM

I've watched both dramas and the movie for the japanese version.. but I still not interested on watching the korean version since I thought that the story line will be the same.. most of my friends prefer the korean version~ I'll guess I just have to watch it myself than..

Hyewonee 04-14-2009 09:26 PM

I watched all 3 of them...
In my humble opinion, Japanese ones were the best.
For some reason, taiwan ones people seem too old for the actual story line.. and then Korean one.. they just sucked at acting... It's kinda sad that I am saying that since I am Korean myself..

But gotta love the story. I enjoyed watching all of them. :)

che2lg 04-14-2009 10:03 PM

I've watched all of them and I would say that the Japanese version is the best. The actors and actresses in the Taiwanese and Korean versions don't know how to act and it's a pain to watch it sometimes :) But the cutest guys are in the Korean version though the main girl is really annoying to watch.

tifa 04-14-2009 11:01 PM

but the korean F4 was the stuff!! their red card and bullying was cool!! made a guy just wanna jump!!! and the japanese boys are photoshopped or edited sooo badly u can tell not even cute!! and the korean version showed real money and power a true rich kid the dress code was amazing the uniform was amazing it was!! i just find it the sex!

hikkiFM 04-15-2009 03:53 AM

havent watched the korean version... tsk tsk..

Right...the japanese version is the best. Mao did a very good job.
The korean version was good for some people because there were cute guys...But in my opinion a good drama is something that can touch your heart, that can transmit the feelings of the characters to the viewers.
The japanese version is better, and the main actors are really cute.

hikkiFM 05-01-2009 05:17 AM

i agree.... some of the scenes make me cry...

totally agree :D The korean girl's acting is kinda over the top. That's why you can't feel the emotion. Inoue Mao is great :) And about the F4...t's not just about the looks, actually. It's about the acting. And no matter how bad you look, as long as you act and portray your part well, you're gonna get audiences to watch the show.

Hikki, please post a YouTube or shopping site link for the Japanese and Korean version.

I shall purchase the DVD's as always looking for a new movie.

Thank you in advance:)

xYinniex 05-20-2009 04:04 PM

I've seen all three. and I can't choose, all three have their redeeming qualities and let downs.

But purely based on what was the most influential series for ME
the japanese version hands down, because i was at that age where I was most interested in romance and all that candyflossed covered stuff. The Taiwanese version was too old for me. and the concept, though its the same in every drama, in the korean version was too young for me. =)

But in terms of acting, sticking the the plot, they're all amazing, in their own right.

WishingStar 05-21-2009 02:46 PM

I can't really judge because I've only seen the japanese one, which i adored :D I will have to watch the others at some stage.

HimawariChan 05-25-2009 07:04 PM

I haven't watched the whole Korean version, but I'm sure I'll go for the Japanese, it's my absolutely favourite drama. Inoue Mao is such a good actress and Matsumoto Jun, well, he fits the role perfectly

I can't say with words how much Hana Yori Dango means to me, it's just a perfect drama ~ :rheart:

Miyavifan 05-25-2009 08:01 PM

I haven't seen any of the versions, but I'll probably end up going with the Japanese version, as Oguri Shun is in it.

if you haven't seen it, i don't think you have the right to judge.

Ypsilanti 05-26-2009 09:18 AM

i watched japanese version ^^
i love itttttttttttttt (L)

komitsuki 05-26-2009 09:49 AM

Watched Hana Yori Dango Live Action in Korean version and Japanese version.

Can't decide which one to choose from. Both of them are superb.

What is your deal? you seem bitchy today.

Shun is a good actor, therefore, I think that version will be my favorite.

At least I have substance in my comments, despite how bitchy they are.
I know what I'm talking about. I just think that without having watched any of them, EVEN IF YOU WATCH ONE, you don't have the right to judge because YOU can't COMPARE.

Take into consideration-
the acting itself,
the way the camera is shot,
the angles and
how the plotline affected you
how the PD wanted it to be directed.

You can't make a blase comment based on the actors.

Half the time I look at a hana yori dango thread, it's full of unintelligent responses, not only you, but alot of other people.

MMM 05-26-2009 07:15 PM

Miyavifan said she would "probably like" the Japanese one because of Oguri Shun. That is all. She didn't judge anything.

Can everyone please take a deep breath and try posting without looking for ways to cut each other down?

lself 05-27-2009 12:09 AM

Well, I've only watched part of the Korean version and part of the Japanese version. I didn't really like either of them. I like Hana Kimi better:). However, I did think that the Korean actors were more attractive.

gah!!

I have a right to comment, even if it has no "substance".

Thank you.

And that's right. Since judging is a negative thing, and I didn't say one negative word about the other versions.

I agree. That would be a good thing to do.

Actually, she made the assumption that the Japanese version would be better because of one actor.

To Assume [according to the dictionary] is to take for granted, without proof of.

I just find it ignorant to prefer something that one has never watched. Perfectly logical right?

Pexster 06-03-2009 10:12 AM
