I can find movies from these 4 in my local video rental stores quite easily.

I am also looking forward to seeing more films with Ken Watanabe.

@Tenchu - actually I read about this movie in a magazine called Giant Robot. It sounded really sad, but I am still looking forward to seeing it.

Well if you want you can get to know the ones I posted! To start off here is a poster of a movie with Tadanobu Asano.

It's called Sharkskin Man Peach Hip Girl. I thought it was pretty cool and every since I have been renting movies any time I saw Tadanobu Asano was in it.

OMG! I can't believe I left the legendary SONNY CHIBA off my list! Here's a pic! Sumimasen! Here a pics of him with Chiaki Kuriyama and with Vivica Fox at the premiere of Kill Bill I think.

The only Jap artists I know are Jun Matsumoto and Hideiki Takizawa. Which brings me to my next question...are they gay?

@Tenchu- I figure you must have already heard about this movie, but just in case you haven't it's called God's Left Hand, Devil's Right Hand. Shimizu Momoko is in it.

Tak Sakaguchi from Death Trance. He's sooo cute! And, in that movie, they had Dir en Grey's IIID Empire, and Increase Blue, and and and..... Clever Sleazoid vers. 1. :D I have it on DVD. Oh. Marebito, however I forgot the girl's name. Oooh! Another good horror from Japan was Suicide Club, and I forgot the main person from there too, but it was so awesome... >.<

Masanobu Ando He starred in battle royale as Kazuo Kiriyama ,In which playing this character he potrayed a heartless psychopathic killer ,He's an amazing actor he brought so much depth and realness to this character it was unbeliveable,and he looked good doing it .

One Of my other Favorites is Takako Fuji who has potrayed the character of Kayako in every Grudge -Ju-on movie including all the bonus short films .What's really amazing about her is she is contortionist so all those things you see Kayako do are real!

I like Renji Ishibashi, he gets more perverted with every role he plays.

And I like the team of Riki Takeuchi and Sho Aikawa, they have great chemistry together.

When it comes to women, I love watching Kou Shibasaki.

I rather like Gackt Hyde. XD

I like Hiroki Narimiya, Tetsuji Tamayama, Park Han-byul (although she's Korean, not Japanese), and Takako Fuji (yes, that's the woman who played Kayako in both the American and the Japanese versions of The Grudge)

Oguri Shun - He was wonderful in Hana Yori Dango and GTO, so cool and calm, I couldn´t help but laugh all the time : 3

Ikuta Toma - Aa, Toma is so funny! He did a fantastic job as Nakatsu in Hana Kimi. Nakatsu-moments are so funny....

Teppei Koike - Aww, Teppei is just so small and cute >w< And has a wonderful voice, too.

Hyde and Gackt - Yes, I like them only as a couple. Moon Child was great.

Nakama Yukie - Hahaha, she is such a powerful actress! She was amazing in Gokusen! And Kamisama mou sukoshi dake, too.

Jun Matsumoto - JUN IS NUMBER ONE!!!! I JUST CAN`T GET ENOUGH OF HIM!!! Sorry the caps lock, but I just felt like yellign xD

Gackt, HYDE, Anna Tsuchiya, Mika Nakashima, the girl who played Hachi in the first Nana m ovie, and the girl who played Momoko in Kamkaze Girls (I don't remember their names).

I haven't seen many Japanese films, but so far, Hyde's my favorite actor.

He's so.....natural, I guess. Suave, smooth, etc.

Gackt would probably be second. I've only seen one of his films, but he seems to act like himself on camera (he's such a dork! lol), rather then acting as someone else (a....not dork?).

Top actors are definitely Beat Takeshi (Takeshis was kinda weird, but Takeshi's Castle ROCKS!), Sonny Chiba (the Street Fighter movies... nuff said), Fujiwara Tatsuya (Death Note and Battle Royal!), and my latest fav Matsuyama Kenichi (HE WAS L FROM DEATH NOTE!!!! AND KRAUSER FROM DMC!!!!!!!!!)
