Manson himself on the other hand is a kind of goth I believe, even if his music is not totally, and a very dirty one he is. :)

Though his personal style could be very much percieved as goth, his music sounds far from what alot of goth music supposed to.
Usually a goth band has a very large number of members, their sounds are very melodic, most have female singers (who have operatic trained voices) accompanied by growlers and male vocalists.

One of my favorite bands is 'Sins of thy beloved', their song "Forever". You can go check it out on youtube i'm sure, but you will see the large contrast between Marilyns style and Gothic style music.
Also check "Theatre Of Tragedy ".

my favorite rumor was him being that kid from THE WONDER YEARS....
(yes, Wonder Years... with Fred Savage on Nick at Nite back in the days...)

i don't know. theres this weird gay guy going around named JEFFREE STAR?
I thought it was him but PINK? LIke he changed his colors up a bit or something
lol. In my opinon, I don't know about his music, but whenever I hear a song
of his, it makes me ITCH all over. And he's ugly. If white snakes transformed
into a human being, Manson would be the ideal model.

Okay, I think he's cool but I don't love him...

See first of all being a complete Psyco is not good for your health but his music is really cool even though it's not talking about the greatest of things... I don't mind ripping up the Bible and Burning the American flag on stage but the thing is... At least show a lil' respect and have an Open Mind... So as you can see... He's inbetween for me... But he is cool!

Thank you, I do know gothic music since I am a goth myself. And female singers are mostly seen in gothic metal bands, and also symphonic metal, underground gothic rock and darkwave bands have much male singers in deep voices and doesn't need more than four members like most bands to sound good. :)

Those bands you listed are gothic/doom metal bands and are seen more as a part of metal culture rather than gothic, but that depends on the band itself mostly, of course. Nightwish is the perfect example for setting up the symphonic metal genre (and also adding to the gothic metal) and many gothic metal bands are very inspired by the opera voice of Tarja. For more bands in the gothic subculture you should check out Bauhaus (said to be the first gothic band), Siouxsie And The Banshees, Inkubus Sukkubus, The Crüxshadows and Bella Morte. If you listen to more gothic rock and darkwave with male singers, you'll see it can be pretty similar to some of Manson's songs. ;)

Anyway, it's a question of taste, and everyone to their own. :D

Jeffree Star, personally I think he's ripping off from Manson's style, and pretty bad too. :p
Are you talking about Manson's or Jeffree Star's music?
Manson's the hottest man on earth, but I guess that's just me. :D

Sorry, I forgot to check back for replies. He is my dad's cousin's cousin or something like that. Not super direct but he did do the wedding music at one of my relative's weddings. My dad was there. I dunno, it's just kinda weird.
