Western rock is and always will be better lol. You just have to be able to dig and find what tickles your fancy.
At the drive-in does that for me <3333.

Jrock is carbon copy of 80s glam rock and punk, not only with they way they look, but down to the sound.
Western "Rock" is garbage.
it's both Garbage 8) but at least Western Rock is it's own garbage, not copying garbage from another country. get my drift?
Industrial FTW!

I don't really listen to Western rock. It's all the same to me, really. I like western R'n'b and hiphop tho. :'3 But not the rock.

I liked limited Western Rock in my teens, now, I prefer more relaxing music, although I would prefer Japanese Rock over the heavier and super loud screaming Western Type.

Exactly. I find that I am more into music instead of genre and I listen to music about 5 hours a day while I am at work. Since I dont see the videos its all about the music for me. I listen to both Jrock and Wrock quite a bit. Right now I am really into the Black Keys so I'm gonna say Wrock. A month from now it might be Jrock again.

I cannot really decide, both are awsome. T_T

Western doesn't reffer to one country, but I'm pretty sure glam and punk rock were developed in the UK before it hit America. And the visual style and music drew from many different things. It didn't just show up out of no where, uninfluenced by nothing.

JRock was influenced by the movement. All music is influenced by something, so if you label JRock as copying, then you have to label all music as copying.

Not defending JRock or anything, I'm pretty neutral on the subject >>

(I like your icon btw. Dero is my guilty pleasure)
