I like normal rock better. I love all of the ooooooold bands and I especially lurv ACDC.

But Western Rock, of course.
It's what I grew up with and
the sound is just awesome to me.
Don't get me wrong, J-Rock is ok.
But if I had to choose listening to
either only Western or J-Rock for
the rest of my life I'd definitely
choose Western Rock.

Besides, the genres are different. It's stupid to compare them.

I like music from America and JRock. But most of the music I have nowadays is Jmusic, so I chose that. But there are plently of bands I listen to that are 'western'.

I don't think they are THAT much different. Jrock bands just look like glam artists that sing in Japanese... they are both just rock bands from different countries.

Anyway,

Obviously Jrock is going to win by a mile on this, it's Japan forum and is full of fangirls.

The point of the poll is to show what JF members like. Shouldn't really be taken outside this forum as an example. If it's a worldwide poll, Rock would win hands down... it has legends which can never be beaten. JRock wins here because it's a forum about people addicted to Japan.

If it was the other way I wonder if JRock would get any vote (considering Rock got a good amount here).

But I think that the newcoming bands are not very different in terms of talent on both genres, the old ones make the difference, the huge one I mean.
