Uriko 09-15-2008 03:33 AM

kaelazors 09-15-2008 03:45 AM

CrazyLee 09-15-2008 08:18 AM

Jackie Chan. A young Jackie Chan. Bouncing off the walls never looked so good.

karateka 09-15-2008 08:23 AM

Don't get me wrong, Bruce Lee was brilliant. I just like Jackie Chans work more.

karateka 09-15-2008 08:32 AM

i like jackie chan too but bruce lee was a martial artist jackie is just an entertainer who has some moves

CrazyLee 09-15-2008 08:40 AM

The same could be said about Stephen Chow. And yet he's also a viable option here.
And I'd like to point you to something in Mr. Chan's own site:
Biography - The Official Website of Jackie Chan
Scroll down a little, but he's a martial artist. Yes he's trained as an entertainer, but part of that training was in Martial Arts.

Suki 09-15-2008 02:58 PM

Bruce Lee is dead you dickheads, he can't be the best.

CrazyLee 09-15-2008 03:08 PM

^ I find this insulting. Yes, we know he's dead. But unless I've missed something, this is not a thread about the best 'living' martial artist in the media.

Well, sorry. Then the question should have been: who has been the best martial artist of all time? xD just teasting :p

While highly offensive, I find this to be amazingly funny.

Lunarknightzero 09-15-2008 04:55 PM

drunkenfist or ba-gua would win

Sutiiven 09-15-2008 04:58 PM

hapkido or seven star praying mantis :vsign: Jet Li.

Paul11 09-15-2008 05:23 PM

I carry a gun, a stick, a taser and peper spray, also a radio to call all of my best friends. I win.

I didn't intend for it to be funny either =/

I practiced and taught Aikido. I saw him in Japan. He was an ass and the bigwigs in Aikido agreed.

Sketchy 09-15-2008 10:55 PM

lol I bet, didn't somebody choke him out or something?

Sinner 09-16-2008 07:43 AM

Jackie Chan ftw!

chibichick83 09-16-2008 09:24 AM

I'd have to go with Jackie Chan :)

I think he's great in so many ways, both as a martial artist, actor and comedian...There is nothing that this guy can't do! :D

No. It was an expo and he brought his own dudes. Acted smug for a big fat dude. Pretty rude. I'm not sure people in Japan are all about "choking people out" lol

Sketchy 09-17-2008 12:33 AM

Haha, no I meant one the set of one of his movies, I read a rumor about one of the stuntmen choking him out. I guess there's no way to know sure anyway.

Being able to bounce off the wall doesn't make you a good martial artist.

As an FYI, Jackie Chan and Stephen Chow shouldn't be considered a martial artist. None of them has formal martial art training. Jackie Chan's training is not considered a martial art, but a style of northern Chinese Opera training.....

Jaydelart 09-18-2008 05:22 PM

They're all good martial artists.

Aota 09-18-2008 05:53 PM

Dude! Stephen Chow! >>

Have you not seen the epicness of Kung-Fu Hustle? :3 Or CJ7?

Second choice, however, Bruce Lee. Totally.

Rayfain 09-27-2008 06:58 PM

I went for Tony Jaa.
He really pushes the possibilities of the human body.

QuoyaNatsume 09-27-2008 07:17 PM

I mean ok lets get real Bruce Lee hands down!! (yes he would pwn Chuck lol)
But he's not alive so 'd have to for those who are still breathing.... Jet Li sorry guys too serious & would never do anything close to druken fist boxing or the type of opera martial arts that Jackie has done. Tony Jaa on the other hand is just as crazy as Jackie when it comes to doing his own stunts & stuff!! Don't think I know Stephen sorry:o

So I pick Jackie Chan ftw. (& yes I do agree a young Jackie Chan is very, very hot to me too!;)

& it's jus as tough & disciplining. & if his training isn't considered martial arts then please tell me what hapkido, judo, tae kwondo, shaolin, and wing chun kung fu is?!! o_O

I've said it several times, and I'll say it again. I don't think the art has anyhting to do with success in the fight. It's the artist, or fighter. If someone is fast, coordianted, in shape and tough, the person will be successfull in a fight or match no matter what style is practiced.

EveV 09-28-2008 03:50 PM

Jackie Chain DUH, because he has his own animated series.

Wah!!
