used to until i sold my Z and got a fwd. now im just sitting around waiting to get my parts in to finish my rb26TT build for a 1975 240Z.....then i will unleash the dragon and tear up the backroads along with some good old fashion drag racing at the track.

stick shift FTW auto's are so boring.....my left foot gets bored and starts dancing around if im driving an auto. everyone in D1 and everyone in all other drift circuits use sticks.

I prefer to use a stick shift its more challanging than just sitting there and pulling the hand break in an automatic car. Automatics are for lazy people . . . and old people.

I loooooove to drift! One of my best friends drifts and he lets me ride with him when he goes around the track (Can't drive yet....)

typesblur 10-12-2007 03:37 AM

haha if im going to drive stupid i take the responsiblity in my own hands and only drive by myself. i dont feel like going to a friends parents house saying "im sorry i killed your son/daughter"

Hyakushi 10-12-2007 03:48 AM

Hahahaha I feel the same way I don't race with anyone else in the car just me so if I get into a reck then I'm the only one that dies :D

I've actually drifted in two cars, both rear wheel drive. A BMW 320 Turbo Diesel and a souped up Mitsubishi FTO.
The thrill is kinda indescribable when you first do it but as with all things, you start getting used to it. Weaving in and out of traffic still gives me a rush though :D

Where would one go to see a Drift competition? Is there a professional league (with set races)?

noodle 11-23-2007 02:05 PM
