I would like to point this out, as it is INSANE..
News: MGS4 has '90 minute' cut-scenes - ComputerAndVideoGames.com

Could the Wii do this?
Even with the best video compression and MIDI audio tracks, I doubt it could pull it off....

This kind of makes me not want to play the game...

Go PS3!

Go PS3!

Unlike a lot of people, I love cut scenes. It gives a chance to add depth and cinematic quality to games which I like. I know a lot of people don't like them, but hey tough luck, you can skip most cut scenes if you really want.

I'll have to go with both of them, They both have there good qualities.

I know, but I don't care who you are, a 90 minute cut-scene is pushing it...

as someone stated somewhere else.....

"Would you like some video game to go with your movie?!"

I think I'd only be frustrated if it was 90 mins straite... but I doubt thats the case... 90 mins of cut scenes means a HUGE game... :)

I love Tales of Symphonia but I won't be buying a Wii just for two games.

Vesperia will be multiplatform. There's been a few instances with interviews where a PS3 version has been questioned about and hinted on. Also when BandaiNamco released their game's list for 2008 of what's coming out Vesperia appeared as both PS3 and 360.

I can only imagine it's the case with Bioshock where Microsoft paid to keep it a timed exclusive, and have Bandai play the "cloak and dagger" card for any news on a PS3 release.

You can skip cutscenes in MGS anyway. However with the way the game works you're probably going to be looking up guides or spamming people on your codec in frustration over what you should do.

You've obviously never played a MGS game, if you have you'll claim you didn't like it.

Pushing it? Yea, push x and the cut scene is gone. Ohhh noooo.

I for one would be fucked if I want to wave my arms around in the ait like a faggot trying to play again. I often play at night, after a hard day doing stuff, I just want to lay back and relax, as little effort as possible aside pressing some buttons and stuff.

Is PS3 for me. I think the Wii is for younger gamers, mostly.

In a few of the 'hardcore' Wii games you don't have to use the Wii mote. Where I don't have to, I don't. Sometimes I just can't be bothered xD

Games like this can be really popular. Final Fantasy commonly has a fair few cutscenes, X2 even has a full music video at the start. Same with Devil May Cry - that has a fair few cutscenes aswell. Not sure how much the Final Fantasy cutscenes add up to though.
