Crap, you really are making me want to throw my studies out the window and just play video games for a week. I mean that in a good-ish way. I'm glad that Dark Cloud 1 is a good game.

I have heard of Dynasty Warriors, but never played it.

What's Shadow Hearts?

Hiya Crimson, have you ever heard of Tales of Rebirth? If you have do you know anything about it? Supposively it came out after Symphonia, and before Legendia...

<---Thats the cover.

Yes, I have. It was released December 2004 in Japan and did indeed come between Symphonia and Legendia. Unfortunately, it is very unlikely this game will ever be released outside of Japan. Something about some policy that Sony has that forbids publishers from releasing certain types of games (which conveniently Rebirth is).

The story takes place in a world where humans and Gajuma (beast people) coexist in relative peace. Long ago, both races joined forces and founded a kingdom called Galegia, and they've lived in prosperity for many years. That is, until the Gajuma king Ladras Lindblum, who had wisely ruled the kingdom for years, mysteriously falls ill and dies. On the day of his death, chaos breaks out in the kingdom, and since then people have referred to this day as "The Day of Ladras' Fall".

The main character is an 18-year-old named Veigue, who lives in Sulz, a village located in the cold, northern region (it's pretty though). It seems his life has been pretty peaceful; despite having been orphaned, his parents dying when he was very young. Veigue was raised by the family of Claire Bennett, the game's female protagonist. However, his whole life changes when his village and he himself come under attack (sound familiar? ^_^ )

Having never really played the game, I can't really tell you much other than that. I do know that the battle system deviates from the one used in previous games, be it good or bad. But I don't know much else about the character development, plot, or replay quality.

Hope this helps.
