What do you LOVE about Japan?
Hope I'm posting this in the right section.
All of us on this site who have lived in or visited Japan can point to things that annoy us about Japan. But this thread is not about that, so please don't put any negative vibes on here. Tell us what you LOVE about Japan, even the little things. I'll start. Free furniture and appliances! Everyone has something that is six months old and they want to replace, so as soon as you arrive in your neighborhood people are offering you kotatsu and coffee makers and rice cookers and zaisu and pots and pans and everything. All free! |
The people are interesting and polite. The food is good. The transportation system is efficient. There is lots of scenery and history to enjoy. Everyone at the 7-11 says "irashaimase" when come in, and "arigatou gozaimasu" when I leave.

It's new and facinating?
Because, like, seriously OMG, Southern California gets, like, really effin' annoying after a while you know? |
I like the culture, to a certain degree.
I also enjoy manga? Haha Quote:
I really hope you're being sarcastic with that remark, because I really hate it when people don't appreciate what they have and where they're from. That's terrible. |
Festivals. :]
