I think young girls not being concerned enough about what is good for them is becoming a theme of this thread.

Nobody is encouraging me to do anything I have a brain of my own

Should I know what a 'gravure' model is? From what I've been reading it sounds pretty... tacky? Not something someone should aspire to as a cheap way of getting into Japan.

But hey what do I know~

Whether this kind of industry hurts people or not is debatable.

If this thread goes off the rails I'm going to ask one of the other mods to close it.
No insults please, keep it clean. ~Misa~

I doubt anyone on this board knows a gravure model personally, so whats with all the assumptions that its such a dark lifestyle and that they must be depressed and whatnot? If thats what she wants to do then let her do it. Sometimes people need to make their own mistakes. If she gets a career in that and ends up liking it then good for her.

i dunno why but gravure models, like applemilk seem to be depressed, junkie edge, low steemed darkish people.
just a prejudgemental view, but after seeing this pic...
