Me and my friends are trying to make a j-rock band lol.

lol and were 4 black kids and a white drummer. I wonder if that will work X_X

depends on what kind of instrument in a =metal band
Guitar- to start off i would recomend squier or epiphone
Bass- a rouge or a squier ( i have a rouge sounds awesome.
Drummer- ask one I don't qkno
Keyboard- YAMAHA FTW lol

Hmmm I don't know what advice I can give.

But I also must agree that without Japanese the chance of being a success in the Japanese music industry, as I'm pretty sure it's the second biggest next to the United States. It might be the third though. Not sure if Japan's or England's is bigger.

But if you're really set on it go ahead and try for it
