I'm proud of my students and their mothers, they are very kind and friendly, so all the guests seemed to enjoy being with them!

We are lucky to find a new teacher finally!

I miss australia too.
I enjoyed teaching oz kids Japanese!

Have a happy day OZkai san

Ahaha.. That's super..

My son is half Japanese little Kai and is already starting to speak.

I'm glad you found a teacher and know all about it

I really enjoyed teaching kids in Japan.. The Mother's were also great and we all had a lot of fun Six years in total and a stint at Illingua Bangkok.

The parents were so upset when I left Japan as they all wanted me to teach their children again the following year. That was at Kyoshin Juku in Kyoto.

I live around the corner from a Japanese Juku and have a few Japanese firends here. I'm sure you know about Cairns.

Do you have a website?

If so, I may make contact and may even pay you a visit one day with little Kai

I keep in touch with quite a few of my students parents.

take care, It's late here and defintiely bed for me..

All the best - Oz (Not real name)

Cheers - Oz

Yes, I know about Cairns, but haven't been there yet.
I was in Melbourne and Sydney cos my colleges were there, and
travelled in QLD, but only Brisbane for a few weeks.

You know what?
One of my friends is going to visit Cairns in a month, for 2 weeks.
She is looking for a homestay style accommodation, do you know anyone who could be interested in having a Japanese lady 38 years old? (no smoke,drink,drug/loves animals and music)

Little Kai is 2.2

He is now starting to talk more and more although is combining the two languages which is probably both my wife and our fault, well not really a fault, but we both tend to speak Japanese and English sentences combined..

Nihongo chotto dake... I don't use it much nowadays and I am losing it, although I'm sure being back in Japan would catch on again..

Kansai ben: Okini, Bochi bochi den na, Ho ma ni
Memories are coming back again

I am sure I can help your friend with accommodation, Homestay.. I will send you my details by private PM so she can contact me.

Kai is very cute I will also send you some video links by Private Message.

I'm actually from Sydney.. I grew up around the harbour which was my backgarden as a child often spending quality time swimming, sailing and windsurfing.

Mayumi san - Have a great weekend, gambatte ne, and keep smiling

Cheers - Oz

Hi everyone, long time no see;) - 07-27-2009, 01:24 PM

How have you been everyone?

I just wonder if any of you interested in teaching Japanese kids English for a short time? We have summer school and we need more teachers!

If you are interested, just pm me!

and also
we accept some overseas students who are learning Japanese (as "homestay" style)

well... you don't have to be a real student like a high school student.
As long as you would like to learn Japanese and would like to experience
some real Japanese life, you will be welcome!
Even a short time, you can enjoy being a part of a Japanese family and learn real Japanese language there!

If you are interested, PM me or leave your massage here
(but don't leave your real names and numbers and all that)

Thank you everyone! - 09-08-2009, 02:39 PM

Thank you!
We found nice teachers for this summer school and
We all had a good time!
I hope I can see YOU next summer ! (?)

If you are interested in staying with a Japanese family,
pm me anytime.
now I have 3 families who offer single rooms for guests from overseas.
(If you can teach them English, you can stay there for almost free!)

and at my school, we have Japanese classes for beginners to advanced students! (If you can help me with English, then of course you can take the lesson for free too!)

Sorry, I haven't made our school website yet...
we have one, but it's only for the students and their families (they don't want other people to see their photo)
When I make one for everyone to see, I will come back here to leave the web address!

Till then,
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hello again! - 07-15-2010, 12:27 PM

Are you visiting Japan or living in Japan?

Why don't you come and visit us in Nagano this summer!?

We can offer you some place to stay!

This time, we are not looking for English teachers to work with us,
but our students 4-10 years old kids and their families (and me for sure!)
love to have visiters from other countries.

In August,we will go on a picnic, playing a lot of games at the park...

The kids understand English pretty well, but they will probablly answer you in Japanese if they know you understand Japanese! but if you don't they will speak in English. They are very friendly!

Interested?

Please Email me

PS
I just read my last year post... I can't believe myself haven't made the website yet! Im sorry. Im not good at this computer stuff!
