No, it's the Nazi swastikas. I have seen then in Japan, but not in a long long time.

Generally it is just ignorance. Those symbols mean so much for those fought or were oppressed by the Nazis, even some 60 years later, but for countries that weren't as directly affected the symbols can literally become fashionable. It doesn't mean they are Nazis.

One of my favorite pics I have from Japan is of a 10-year-old kid wearing a "A friend with weed is a friend indeed" t-shirt with a big marijuana symbol. And this was at school.

Yes, it is the wheel of life, from India. However, in India, it is not in a white circle with a red background, and it is not facing backwards, as the Nazis had it.

I think it is similar to the skull and cross bones idea. A kind of "badass" thing. But, if you were to put words behind it of what the swazstika means in Thai saying "Thai people are a stupid and inferior race to whites", they'd probably burn them on bon fires along with all the other books they burn. So yes, it is ignorance, given Thais semi think they are superior race and culture.

I've also seen things written in English I know Thai people could not understand... some really make me crack up.

Yeah, I knew the nazi memorabilia was kinda big in Japan, I didn't know about it in Thailand, interesting none the less.

Let's be clear, it isn't big in Japan. I think I saw some stickers at an auto specialty store 20 years ago and was really surprised, but I can't remember seeing anything like that (though I bet it exists somewhere) since the 1990s.

I live in Japan and I have not experienced anything racist here...matter fact...
Life is great here in Japan if you a black man...the women love you...thats my 2 cents
