Yes, most of Japan is very hot and humid in summer. Cooler the farther north you go, of course.

About how cool is it in tokyo in the early part of the year?

No, I said I do NOT live in Tokyo.

Either way, you`ll only find people dressed up like that at special events for them, or on certain weekends at certain locations.
People don`t dress like that in normal life.

haha i would :D

i love that style its so me :D
have you seen anyone dress like that,say..at THIER spaecial events? O.o

You`re completely welcome to dress however you like, anywhere you like. Just don`t expect people to be any more accepting of it in Japan than in your home country. Actually, if that is your style, why not dress that way now? I`m not sure where you`re from, but when it comes to fashion - despite all the claims of the internet - Japan is actually MORE conservative than even the US.

I will be honest and say that I don`t understand why people think that they can dress like that in Japan when they don`t have the courage to do so at home. People will look at you and think you`re just as weird here... Probably even more so, as you`re not even Japanese.

Maybe it will be easier for them to dress how they want in Japan, because you won't know anyone and nobody will know you. But that's the same if you go to any country, not just Japan so I'm not sure why people think that >.<

I know this is going to be a crazy question, but how do the japanese really feel about black americans? I am black, and I really like japanese culture (so much so my wife thinks I'm nuts, hehe.), I want to learn as much as I can. I'm having a bit of trouble with speaking it, but I am working on it. Any pointers?

Just like so many of you I wanna go to Japan (The minute I turn 18, i'm of on a plane), and I have some questions:
1º - What is the best part-time to have over there?
2º - How are the university's in Japan?
3º - Is it expensive to live in Japan? Because I heard it is. :(
4º - Is japan like what you see in animes? :P (Ok, this one is a joke, but i'll my fingers crossed...)

O:

A portuguese! I'm portuguese as well :D olá!

The best part time must be being a teacher.
Yes, of course there are Univ's in Japan
Yes, Japan is expensive
No, Japan is not what you see in Animes =P

I'll send you a PM ;)

Crani 04-23-2008 05:43 PM

Thanks for the reply, but what I was wanting to know was if the university's in Japan, are any good. And btw are they hard? There again, I heard that school is pretty rough, nothing about university.
