I'm glad to hear that:)
Are you learning Japanse at school or by yourself?
If you have questions, ask me easy, and it'll be nice if you teach me some slang sometimes, for I'm watching a few TV dramas in English.

Kyousuke 02-03-2008 02:35 AM

Im learning Japanese by myself. I could teach you english slang , its spoken alot where i live.:vsign:

yumeau 02-03-2008 02:44 AM

Oh

Isn't it tough?
Once I've learned French by myself and I could understand the glammer in the book (now forgotten, of couse), but I couldn't get how they pronounce.

Yes, baking is one of my hobbies ^^ I also like to draw, sew, and knit ((though I'm still trying to finish my first knitting project that I started last year, lol))
Anywho, I mainly bake cookies because I find them fun, but I baked my first cake recently, and it didn't fall ((I was so excited about that)), and it tasted good, but the frosting (yes, I even made the frosting..I didn't have any on me and I found an easy recipe for it) was almost too sweet. XD But then again, it *did* call for 3 cups of powdered sugar..I guess anything that calls for that much powdered sugar would be pretty sweet, lol. :)

It does.
However, it also sounds to me like... like if you were a dwarf of LotR or a goblin of the Gringotts Wizarding Bank of HP:p
(Sorry if you don't like that!)

yumeau 02-03-2008 07:26 AM

yummy... Great that you even made the frosting.
When I was a high school student, I'd also made cookies or cakes sometimes.
I heard that there are muffins with colorful frosting and decorations in the States now.
I'd love to have one!
