Perhaps your RAM is too slow? I believe you need a 1GB RAM for the new Adobe CS2 and CS3. Mine was to low so it didnt work, too T.T |

sorry folks, totally forgot to check up on what was going on here.
An adobe application by itself is usually $500+. They cost this much due to the fact that they are industry standard products. No commercially printed material you see today hasnt passed through one of the adobe programs such as photoshop, illustrator, indesign, or acrobat. I use these programs everyday for work. If you have alternate programs such as anime studio, which yunantidus asked, go with the adobe application since it is more widely used. All adobe applications are made for both mac and pc, but i suggest you have a lot of hard drive space and ram to run these programs. Some of the files i create usually hit 100+ MBs. I just bought a new computer today and I'm hoping to design up a storm with minimal friction (^_^)v |
You know, you can download Adobe Elements for free, I think, if you wanna be legit about it. It's similar to Photoshop but with a more n00b friendly interface and less options.
I think it's free, anyway. |
Adobe photoshop elements isnt free its about $100-250, though im not a big fan of it. I use to use it when I was very new to photoshop. In today's print and design industry the top progams used are
Adobe: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat, Flash, & Dreamweaver. Quark Express as well...which i hope will die off soon. Learn to use normal photoshop, theres nothing in elements that you cannot do in photoshop. |
