For your first coloured pic its pretty good. I have learned Photoshop for my job so I know how difficult it can be when you first use it. If you practise a bit you get better and better^^v
If you have questions you can ask me if you want. :)

I remember my first one :// -no no I am not gonna talk about it XDD-
I, myslef, still trying to learn coloring and Im still not very good >.>'

WOW, youve got way potential if that's your first ps. The next step for you would be light management across the colored sockets. It would add a depth in realism for the anime. Gradients work wonders for this with a little practice. Then you could follow up with some brush makage. Making your own brushes is way easy with a camera. You could make one from just about anything. Then I would go with using some of your already made ps and try to merge and edit them together to make fluent and corrolating art. Practice is everything. Try to press every button in ps atleast once to see what it does. Eventually you just remeber the effects and certain tricks that do neat little somethings. Look at other ps pix helps too, your able to see exactly what they did to the picture to get it to what it looks like,

Yours is really good, I have a few years Photoshop experiance now so I'm pretty good on it ^-^ For your first go it's amazing!

it seems that you have a problem cleaning the lineart i could still see white shade.
an easy way to eliminate that is to set the background to transparent, then on the layer lock transparency then trace your picture with a brush. or you can allso retrace your work with pentool
hope those
