Yeah :) Scarborough to be exact :p and yeah, we're having pretty cold weather here so I'd recommend perhaps in Spring :)

Nice thread, I'll try and post some here later...

just an idea, can we perhaps set a standard (or guideline) on the size of the pics posted here? Bit irritating when they make everything go scroll...

Edit:

From the illumination of meiji jingu - days.

# Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/8 second = 0.125 second
# Lens F-Number/F-Stop = 56/10 = F5.6
# ISO Speed Ratings = 100
# Focal Length = 34/1 mm = 34 mm

# Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 13/10 second = 1.3 second
# Lens F-Number/F-Stop = 4/1 = F4
# ISO Speed Ratings = 100
# Focal Length = 41/1 mm = 41 mm

what programs do you use for post processing?

i use:

adobe light room 2.1
adobe photoschop cs3

primarily just those two but i also use:

photomatix (for faux-HDR images)
noise ninja (for noise reduction)

Pretty similar to you there. But I only use DPP nowadays for raw conversion (got kinda pissed off at the colors in ACR/LR... I know there are beta profiles but they just don't work as well).

Usually my workflow is now DPP --> TIFF/JPEG --> More adjustments in PS Cs3 (colors, straightening, etc.).

Actually I got tired of HDR so I kinda stopped doing that.

BTw... Something wrong with flickr perhaps... can you also only see one picture in my above post?

This one I took when the sun was rising from a tinted window.

And at Suki's request ^_^ Down sized pix.
