Looks defiantly matter, but not as much as personality.
I admit I'm a bit picky about both but I'm more selective for personality.

i dont care about looks at all . i only care about how someone is i care about their personality and intrests and kindness

Thats very kind, and I count all that with personality (common interests, kindness, honesty, loyalty etc).
But I'd still like to end up with someone who's attractive.
Even though I'm aware looks eventually deteriorate.

Usually when I care for someone...how they appear becomes my "type", if I see someone who has a common feature or style like that particular person I'll think " Oh he's good looking." Personality and my general connection with a guy plays a much bigger impact on my opinion of him, looks aren't really factored in that often, well at least not until I fall for the guy.. then everything he does from the way he even walks, I find attractive.

I rarely get attracted to ugly people.

Actually, I've never been attracted to someone ugly before.

So yeah. It matters.

to me, there are two main things that i judge about someone's appearance...
first is just how they are naturally~ that's obviously not something anyone can do anything about.. soo that's just a meh really x]
secondly, it's what people do to compensate for the way they are~
excessive make-up, or moderate, or non at all~
guess i balance those two factors to judge whether or not i find a girl interesting >.>

then of course, personality does account for a massive amount of points~
and honestly, i first judge a girl's personality based on her appearance.
The way she presents herself and the way she interacts w/ others
if she seems open/willing enough to talk to strangers, and attractive enough to draw my attention, then i'm going to try and start a conversation with her ^^'

but yeah~
that's just a rough idea i guess o.o'
