Personal Avatars!
 

Well, i've like to that the forum was the option to put a personal Avatar. I see that the personal avatar is a think that resume part of your person or of your mood, sure that porn or others things much harder don't have to enter, but, put a draw or an img that u really like is good. The avatars here aren't enough to resume myself.

Well, i think is a good idea :D

I think the system here is that you have to earn your avatar by posting, and not a whole load of random posts either, that would just be silly!
I personally quite like this system, it gives me time (mabye a little much admittedly) to find a very unique avatar.

can we use our own avatar here?

i think it is better if the system allow us to use our own avatar, coz i want to use my own pic :D lol

i found out that the system does not support customizing the avatar, they are in a fix value:D is this a correct term for it? lol

actually yeah, you CAN use your own personal avatar. Look at mine, its not part of the default set. You jus have to reach at LEAST 25 posts. and not jus any random posts. ^_^

oh, i see what kind of blog it is. thats actually a good start on the topics. :D
But i would reccomend tackling more open crowd/interesting CS topics. The ones you have are too..vague or something like that. ^^

How does one go about makeing an Avatar if they don't have Photoshop or any of the Flash programs?

It's been driving me crazy especially when I think I have a good one from the web and it won't download as an avatar.

I'd really appresiate the help.

ah, use mspaint?
like, find an image yuo thihk has a part of that would work as a avatar. then open it up in mspaint and cut out the part you want. then change the attribute of the file to 128x128 or 100 or whatever. ^^ then save as gif.
