Personal Avatars!
 

Well, i've like to that the forum was the option to put a personal Avatar. I see that the personal avatar is a think that resume part of your person or of your mood, sure that porn or others things much harder don't have to enter, but, put a draw or an img that u really like is good. The avatars here aren't enough to resume myself.

Well, i think is a good idea :D

I think the system here is that you have to earn your avatar by posting, and not a whole load of random posts either, that would just be silly!
I personally quite like this system, it gives me time (mabye a little much admittedly) to find a very unique avatar.

can we use our own avatar here?

i think it is better if the system allow us to use our own avatar, coz i want to use my own pic :D lol

i found out that the system does not support customizing the avatar, they are in a fix value:D is this a correct term for it? lol

actually yeah, you CAN use your own personal avatar. Look at mine, its not part of the default set. You jus have to reach at LEAST 25 posts. and not jus any random posts. ^_^

oh, i see what kind of blog it is. thats actually a good start on the topics. :D
But i would reccomend tackling more open crowd/interesting CS topics. The ones you have are too..vague or something like that. ^^

How does one go about makeing an Avatar if they don't have Photoshop or any of the Flash programs?

It's been driving me crazy especially when I think I have a good one from the web and it won't download as an avatar.

I'd really appresiate the help.

ah, use mspaint?
like, find an image yuo thihk has a part of that would work as a avatar. then open it up in mspaint and cut out the part you want. then change the attribute of the file to 128x128 or 100 or whatever. ^^ then save as gif.

Thanks I'll give it a try. Hopefully it will stay. Last time I found a Cool picture of Cloud from FFVII on his motorcycle and once I returned the next day after clearly saving it, it was gone.

muhahaha, yeah baby! :D mspaint is the r0x0rz :D (lol..)

theres really so much you can do with it if you use it often enough. some of the really simple actions are better on mspaint then on photoshop. lol. (<3 ps btw..lol)

YAY! I found out how I can put my own personal avatar up. While I was trying to put up my own pic, I couldn't figure why I had to choose a default and not upload my own. This thread was helpful.

:p its not that hard. jus make comments and stuff when you find something interesting, and the post count will jus fly by. lol

well, if you guys want a quick way of getting posts....
um...look up the photo gallery and make some comments about them. its easier making comments on things you can visualy pick apart. lol.
and our photo gallery will get more attentiopn too! well, at least some more comments...

yep, this is normal (with the sig).
changing the sig will only affect posts you make from then on. old sigs will remain the same on the older posts.
and you can choose a new avatar whenever you want. personal or public. :D

go to the SPAM thread where shinji has collected bad posts and spam posts...and make comments to them. lol. no one will know...well, except those reading this. xD

i hate making avatars btw...@_@;;. i mean, its so cool when you achieve what you want. but man..sometimes...>_> it becomes more a hassle then anything.
