AdultFuck
(this one is new, but rather suspicious...)

Watch out for these kinds of names...

Thanks for the heads-up. I gotta add those to my ignore list ;)

I agree about this. I was one of them, after all. ^_^; Maybe the search button should be bright red!

Yes, I was joking.

I was hoping people would post suggestions, but I mostly expected this thread to be ignored or deleted. The 24-hour wait would be tedious, but it might help slightly. I know I would be annoyed, but once that's over... we might have better members coming in.

Or maybe it was the worst idea I ever had. Still, you can't say it was worse than trying to recharge a battery when the power had gone out.

As annoying as it is.

Post delay would slow the spammers down.

They need to take it off PM and put it on that instead.

A lot of spam is also from automated bots, posting the same thing over and over, and they usually have jiggy names. These could EASILY be stopped by implementing Captcha [those random letters and numbers] on Login. It takes a second to type and bots can't read it.

It may work in some cases, but I reckon that most of the spammers who just post to be annoying [not advertising] are children, they will have access to computers all over the place, schools, libraries, friends houses and so on, so maybe in these instances it won't be so successful.

The recent problem hasn't been creating new topics though - it has been spamming on old ones.

This sort of talk has come up before - I suggested moderating the first few posts.

Mean spammers

Post all your mean comments about spammers here...

I have more to say about the moderators on this site than the spammers. This is ridiculous.

KudoSan 08-03-2008 01:34 AM

Fvck you smarties.

The moderators need to start cracking down. -_-

KudoSan 08-03-2008 01:42 AM

IP ban anyone?

Hello, yeah, Im just wondering, does the admin know how to use the IP ban control? You know, Internet Protocol ban? Yeah, if you are a good admin, you might have the knowledge to use the IP ban, IF you are half decent, so please, IP ban those bitchass mothafvckers that are spamming the place.

Thanks. :)

And seriously? He has fvcking 50 posts of that sh!t!! Fvcking ban him. -_-

KikiBunny23 08-03-2008 01:48 AM

the only reason they havent been banned faster is because kanji isnt here at the moment and he's the one usually doing the banning
