The news spread quickly today that Nova has officially filed for protection from creditors. There are
articles now in the international press as well as plenty of them in the Japanese media.
Estimates are that 5000 Nova employees and over 400,000 students are now locked out. The employees haven't been paid and the students can't get their money back or the lessons they were promised. Because many of the Nova employees (the teachers) speak English, much of the available information online in English has been from the perspective of the Nova English teachers.
