I just received a welcoming mail from Sakura House, and it said:

" Before signing the lease agreement, we ask you to fill out your
contact information in the case of emergency. Please bring the
contact information of your family in your home country (parents') and
your friend/employment/school in Japan.

Lack of information will result in the cancellation of your
reservation. In the case, the deposit is not refundable."

The problem is that we are only going to Japan for vacation and
sightseeing, so we don't know anyone in Japan, and we are not going to
any school. Is this okay as long as we have contact information for
relatives at our home country?

I've emailed them about this, but they haven't answered yet, and I need to find out as soon as possible as we are leaving this monday.

Does anybody have any personal experiences?
