Those specific mountains were somewhere in Mie. Either route 306 or 421... I forget which. But really, you shouldn`t have much trouble finding mountains. They`re quite literally everywhere.
And always have a twisty mountain road.
You should be able to find plenty of mountain fun without coming this far east.
Looking at the map, there is a huge area of little other than mountains and twisty roads north of Osaka, west of Biwako.
