I really loved it overall. It wasn't all fun and games, life and work never is, but the chance to live in Japan for 2 years and save up a nice bit of money doing it was the experience of a lifetime. Here I am, 12 years after coming back to the US, still interested in Japan and taking part on forums, recruiting for JET at my university, etc.
