These two anime will seem really akward together, but...

Katekyo Hitman Reborn is my favorite right now.
It's about a boy named Tsuna, otherwise known as "No-good Tsuna". He gets bad grades, and isn't very athletic. He is being trained under a mafia hitman named Reborn to become the family's next boss. Along the way, he faces new enemies (Mukuro, Byakuran, and Xanxus, to name a few), gains new strengths, and makes new subordinates (including a VERY CLINGY right-hand man...XD) . It's a shounen anime.

Ojamajo Doremi is my other favorite right now.
It was my first anime, so I might be a little biased, but it's a great show with an awesome plot and one of the best BGMs that I've ever heard (so much that I bought the whole soundtrack, put it on my iPod, and I've listened to it for over two years now) . It's about a girl named Doremi, who enjoys the idea of magic and witches, though she is not a witch. After failing to confess her love to the boy she likes, she wanders in the wrong direction on the way home to find that she is in front of a store called "Makihatayama Rika's Magic Shop". She then, through a complicated series of events that I will not explain due to spoilers, becomes a witch, and later, some of her friends do as well. It's a loooooong series, but it's well worth it.

i dont know if it was mentioned before since the pages were so long to read ^.^"

even though they have old graphics Great Teacher Onizuka, Slam Dunk and Sailor Moon are my favourites. they have such good humorous characters.
and for the new generation animes, Lovely Complex and Clannad are stongly recommended. clannad even made me cry.

Most of these were prolly already mentioned if not all of them but this thread is way too long for me to go through the whole thing but.....

Must Watch IMO

Trigun
Cowboy Bebop
FLCL (only six episodes but still very good)
Death Note

I would say bleach too, but im fairly certain its a very high rated show and many anime fans have already seen it

as for the aforementioned ive never looked and could very well be high rated themselves idk, i guess im just ranting now, but if you havent seen them check 'em out

I'd recommend Code Geass if you haven't already seen it.
