It wouldn't be a JF thread without someone attacking America.

Well, I wouldn't think their is much difference bewteen the first 20.

I am suprised that Australia ranks above the United States, Japan, and the other's..

It's like a third world country where I live and the standard single un-tertiary educated person working a full time job cannot afford to live alone.

Todays weather from my balcony in Cairns, Queensland, Australia.

Rainy, windy, overcast, and bloody humid!

They must be updating this index quite frequently, since in the list on the UN website some of the countries have different ranking in comparison to what the OP has posted. Mine has moved up 2 spots, while Japan dropped 1 (thus it's #10 according to the website).

Other than that Japan has some enviable stats... The highest life expectancy in the world and one of the lowest emigration rates. But I think we are all aware of that already.

No.. Houses in Cairns are very large.

That one accross the road of course is an old Queenslander.

the avergae house block here I would say is around 800 square metres..

Sydney I'm sure is smaller..

My parents block in Sydney not far from Bondi is around 750 square metres.. Red Brick home.
