April 13-- Some cherry blossoms in Tokyo? - 03-31-2011, 10:17 AM

Hi guys! I've read that the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom more or else by April 5 and will fall a week after (although not all trees shed at the same time..) so that's April 12..

Thing is, I booked my flight soonest I can on the 13th.. do you think there will still be some? I'm really hoping to see them.. even just one tree.

All I can say is that you are right on the borderline. I'm referring to Tokyo from what you have stated in another thread. You will be either seeing them in near full bloom or mostly walking on the pink carpet.
