Thanks for the replys guys

Well if there was flying trains I dont think we would be on that either

I was thinking like, taking boat from the UK to Denmark, then either another boat from there to Russia and train from there too the coast and then a boat other to Japan.

Aparently there is an underwater train tunnel to Japan, kinda like the channel tunnel from UK to France.

Obviously the tunnel isn't from the Uk.

I'm not sure if there is an underground train tunnel that goes into Japan... I think you have to get a train or something to a port city in China, like Shanghai, and get a ferry from there to Japan (once in Japan, you can take the bullet train (shinkansen) to almost any city in Japan you want. I hope that works OK

I know Japan is an Island, my geography isn't that bad. I believe there has been a bridge or two built though as it's not that much water to cover between Japan and the main land.

Didn't say I knew for sure though. I just wouldn't dismiss it as a possibility.

just somehow give him confidence to fly. i never got used to flying, but im going there soon by plane and the only way im getting myself on that plane is im telling myself, " Japan japan japan..." . someone said so earlier you could take a ship but it will cost you more and take longer. other than that i dont have a clue.

Thank you for the advice I have tried giving him the confidence but so far not worked hehe

He has never been on a plane, so I am trying to arrange for him to board one and see what its like inside

Depending how much it would cost we don't mind the price or the time either

thats good. well if so then a ship would be good. the sea sickness is better than the jet lag, believe me.

I have a fear of being sick but I dont mind if it means going to Japan with my boyfriend hehe ^^

I have flown to Florida before and to Spain and the jetlag was not so bad, but its the cramped conditions of a plane I dislike
