except stuff are expensive.....

I plan on visiting Japan for my first time @ 2010's summer. Probably alone, since i like to travel alone mostly.

I've been on an interrail from Portugal to Spain to France to England to France again to german and finaly to the Netherlands. (All solo, no company)

Went for the first time this summer, spent about 4 weeks there (Totsuka, Yokahama). Stayed with a Japanese family and everything

Planning on going back in 2011 with my sister and then in 2012 as an intern hopefully

I have made 3 trips to Japan in my life. 1994, 1996, and 2010. Each trip was for pleasure. The first time we spent 10 days in Kyoto and 10 days in Tokyo. My second trip was 7 days in Kyoto and 7 days in Tokyo. And the most recent trip was 4 days/5 nights in Tokyo.

I have been to Japan three times now. First time was August last year for 3 weeks in Tokyo, second time was July this year for 3 weeks in Kobe and I have just returned from my third trip last Sunday.

Went travelling around Japan for three months, pretty much on a whim really. Loved the place, now want to go back for my honeymoon.

We went to Furano skiing in 2008. It was excellent, no queues, and the people in the resort were super. We also had 4 nights in Tokyo, we did a lot of walking! In the electronics shopping area of the city we had hoped to buy a couple of things but were surprised to learn that the software was only set up for the Japanese market. We felt that Tokyo was one of the safest citys we had ever been in. My wife commented that she was the only blue eyed blonde person on the the flight (ANA), but felt completely comfortable with this everywhere we went - no stares or anything like that as one or two people on this site have been concerned about.
We will be going back to Japan (Kyoto) this year so I'm trying my best to learn to speak & read Japanese.
I wish we could have afforded to go years ago!

All my relatives live in Japan, so I am often in Tokyo, Yokohama, Miyazaki, Izu and Saitama. Last in summer 2009 for a month.
