In the UK we don't really get any Japanese festivals happening (apart from some very occasional things in London), so it's generally just a bummer here.
It'd be lovely to be able to find somewhere to try these things on in person though... would save always having to work out the correct size when buying online.

So after a bit of searching I stumbled upon this site: Zipangu Treasures

They seem to have a good bit of merchandise. I just ordered some ippon ba (tengu) geta from them so will see how fast and how good of quality they are.
