Lol! America will do that to you. There's a reason I have to keep exercising, I can't give up the foods!

I'd say snack little but often. It keeps your metabolism up and keeps you satisfied. Just be careful with high sugar fruits like grapes, bananas, pineapple, etc. They may satisfy a sweet tooth, but that's for good reason.

Well, writing things down is in a way paying attention. When I'm about to go to the combini to buy some youko (I'm so mad I found that stuff), I'll look at my memo and see, hey, I already had this much today, no more. Or something to that effect.

At least it's being mindful

@Icewind Dude: Thanks for chiming in! Yeah I'm familiar with the theory of eating small amounts often to keep you satisfied as well as keeping your metabolism burning. I'm not sure how true it is... what do you think? Scientifically it makes sense and I know many people who subscribe to the methodology.

people will find it interesting, plus peer pressure will help :P
