Tell me about it I use to eat instant ramen everyday at school. Now I can't stand it! lol but there is this awesome Japanese style restaurant near where I live. The curry, wonton, and miso ramen there are soooooooo bomb.

Yeha, it pretty high in sodium. But you can use about half the seasoning packet and unsalted real chicken/beef/vegetable stock for a healthier and usually tastier version.

Ramen noodles really are very tasty indeed, not to mention pretty moreish once you get going, and I love the many varieties of flavours you can get of them aswell!

I tasted chicken ramen today! I luved it! Now I can't wait to go to that noodle bar again!

not really...they make pretty close to "real" ramen in instant forms. (i'm talking about the non-freeze dried variants)

aka not anything called "chicken", "beef", "oriental" or "shrimp"

but proper tonkotsu, shoyu, shio, miso and the like.



yes, 'real' ramen is great, one of my favorite foods. tonkotsu is the best (kuro ramen even better) followed by tantan and tanmen.
