Pls let me know some useful sentences in Japanese - 01-21-2009, 02:09 AM

Hi all,

Iam planning to study Japanese after Vietnamese traditional new year. However before doing this. I need to know some Japanese useful sentences as follows:

1. Good morning ( Ohayo ! Is it right ? )
2. Good afternoon
3. Good evening
4. How are you ? Iam fine.
5. Iam Cuong
6. What's your name ?
7. Nice to meet you !
8. It's cold today
9. Good night !

Please help to translate them into Japanese.

Thank you in advance.

Cheers,

Hey Cuong.

There's a ton of threads about this - and you can easily find this in any google search/textbook.

I'd tell you the answers anyway, but I want you to start learning Hiragana and Katakana first - then Learn Japanese, don't learn simple phrases But if you buy a textbook, this stuff will be on the first page

4.お元気ですか。はい、元気です
5.クオンです。

That should get you started...

I highlighted the areas that need to be fixed.

Pronunciation from romaji is not ideal. That's why I wrote in hiragana. Hiragana is easy to learn and you can ensure a correct pronunciation.

Someone who cannot read even hiragana should never say "ore".

There are also some spelling errors.
