Japanese names tend to be two to four syllables. "Na" is not a Japanese name I have ever heard. None of the words I know that mean graceful have "na" in the word.

Na is certainly a Chinese female name means graceful and beautiful. This name in China also brings people a kind of exoticism. For example, Anna, Irena, Joanna and Fiona, etc. :D

No Japanese name is that short. The syllable "na" is a component of many women's names: Namie, Rina, Natsuko etc, but you will never see it by itself as a name.

Beware of anything you find on those baby name websites- I have seen some really ridiculous "names" on some of them- there are Japanese name suggestions which would make the child a laughing stock if he/she ever came to Japan.

You are Japanese, but you also speak Chinese. Quite nice!

I think it should be easier for you to understand the Chinese character 娜 in Chinese. It means: 美丽, 秀美, which is very feminine.

BTW, nice to talk to you. Take care! :ywave:
