The last movie I saw was Audition. Totally awesome, the las 40 minutes of the film were very disturbing.

There are a lot of good movies mentioned already. I do have a soft spot for Battle Royale. I can't believe that movie is ten years old already! I also like Onmyoji, Fudoh, The Most Terrible Time in My Life, Samurai Trilogy, Kill!, Youth of the Beast and too many others to list.
Oh, and I like pretty much anything with Tadanobu Asano in it!

Quite possibly, Jigoku, or Blind Beast, or The Great Yokai War.

Jigoku--a 60s horror in Hell, literally.

Blind Beast--a blind artist kidnaps a model to sculpt his twisted fantasies; also an old one

The Great Yokai War--A film by the great Takashi Miike; childish, but well-worth the watch.

You mean story, right? Not trying to be an asshole, just clearing this up.

Btw, I named my dog Dororo. Hah. I loved the movie/game/manga so much.

Battle Royale!

Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like.
