Try watching Boys Over Flowers. It's a Korean show and it's very funny and heart-warming. Plus you get to see a fair share of eye candy as well.

Does anyone of you already watch "Windstruck"? Well its a romantic-comedy film and have similarity in the story of "Ghost" by Demi Moore.

BATTLE ROYAL (damn good action film in general based on a comic)

TABOO (1st japanese, and so far the best, film I've ever seen!)
Director: Nagisa Oshima. It has won multiple awards.

"It shows life in a samurai training school during the bakumatsu period, the end of the samurai era in the mid-19th century, specifically concentrating on the issue of homosexuality in the shudō tradition in the partially-closed environment." -Taboo (1999 film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

KAGEN NO TSUKI (btw, Hyde in one of the main roles as Adam)
Love story of such an passionate emotion that has the power to defeat even death itself. Besides; it's visually pretty piece of work. Can probably also be found from the net for free watching if someone wishes to do so.

Look up Kimura Takuya and watch any dramas he is in. My recommendation is Mr. Brain.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon anyone??

I also enjoyed Azumi. It's about a female assassin.
Some other movies:
Nobody Knows, Hero (feat. Jet Li), Battle Royal, House of Flying Daggers.

TV-series
I'm not really into dramas but I do enjoy the so-called variety shows. These shows contain a lot of humor.

Invincible Youth is a Korean show which I really enjoy.
Some other shows:
Star King, HEY!HEY!HEY!, Star Golden Bell, Arashi ni Shiyagare, We Got Married.

then try looking for the original Japanese "Boys over Flowers"
Hana Yori Dango
Hana Yori Dango 2

In my opinion, it is so much better than the Korean version. For example, in the Japanese original, the girl looks like a teenager, in the Korean remake, the girl looked like she was 25 years old! Not saying the remake was bad, it was OK, I watched it, but the originals were smash hits in Japan.

Well my favorite Korean drama is a show called The City Hall. It's a reLly good show, I especially like how they have romance and comedy in it but it doesn't get all stupid like some others do. And a good movie is one called Old Boys, it's that kind of movie where towards the end it makes you go "Whoa what just happened!" yup.
