Well here's what I've seen of his movies so far in the order in which I like them and I love S.A.

1.Spirited Away
2. Princess Mononoke
3.Howl's Moving Castle
4.Kik's Delivery Service

I haven't seen Laputa though, what is it about, is it as good as the others???

i love this movie but it was really confusing cause she would turn old then young then old again and back and forth thats all i dont get

i love howls moving castle..its my favorite miyazaki movie then comes my neighbor totoro, spirited away, princess mononoke,the nausicaa and i heard hes has a new movie coming out in 2008 i also want to see his sons movie tales of earthsea the animation looks just like his fathers its pretty cool

yeah, i have not heard about him retiring too. his son also directing film for ghibli but does not mean he is retiring.. i mean why would he retire

actually he has a side project right now building a nursery for the local children..

Princess Monnonoke kinda surprised me.
There's not too much violence in H.M.'s movies, so I had to do a double take when Ashitaka shot that samurai's head off with an arrow.
But then I got over it. XD
