I'd say the GazettE, Dir en grey, alice nine., Miyavi, LM.C, An Cafe, SuG, MUCC, The Underneath, Kiyoharu, Gackt, HYDE, L'arc en Ciel, Girugamesh, for starters.

Not Japanese, but very good: Cinema Bizarre, Jay Chou... if you might be interested.

also.. please check out this thread:

High and Might Color STYLE "Get glory in this hand"

Iv loved this song since the first time I heard have big a fan of HMC since they debuted. Maki is the cutest he voice has so much power for being so little yet soft and easy when need be.

If someone is interested in Jrock (but not rock like Dir en Grey) I'd recommend chatmonchy. It's a band with three women (one lead singer, one bass player and one drummer)..their songs are addictive and cooool xD

When you wish upon a falling star, your dreams can come true. Unless it's really a meteorite hurtling to the Earth which will destroy all life. Then you're pretty much hosed no matter what you wish for. Unless it's death by meteor.

hmm...not sure if any1 mentioned this yet...but:
Himeyuri (Paradeis formed after they disbanded)
and the one and only korean/japanese boyband i've ever listened to:
Tohoshinki
^they're pretty cool cuz they sing in both Korean and Japanese, and so far the best song (to me) from them is 'Purple Line'
